Piper has often lamented the fact that the blanket I crocheted her a while back is simply too big to take on a plane. When I bought the yarn for said blanket I woefully overestimated how much I would need, so I offered to make her a shawl that would be a bit more portable. The yarn is Malabrigo merino and may possibly be some of the softest, prettiest yarn I’ve ever worked. The down side is that it fuzzes up like crazy with the kind of use Piper gives it. Fortunately this doesn’t bother her because despite all the pilling it seems to stay soft and cozy.
